June 10-11, 2017 The Polish-Japanese Friendship Foundation NAMI organized the Wrocław Japanese Culture Festival NIHON NO NAMI (日本の波 lit. Japanese Wave) in the IMPART club in Wrocław. The saturation with attractions was exceptionally high, because the festival included: Jiutamaj – a concert of Japanese music and a performance of traditional dance; Rakugo – a Japanese comedy theater of one actor; Kitsuke – workshops on the art of putting on and wearing kimono; Kaoshi – a show of Japanese stage makeup; Shakuhachi – workshops on playing the Japanese flute; Exhibitions: Bonsai, Aikido in photos, Origami and Shodō – calligraphy, which was my authorship.
Additionally, the event was graced by martial arts shows and lectures. Unbelievable morsels for Japanophiles ^_^
